LED Effects Controller with 16 LED Channels
The LED fX is an incredibly straightforward and efficient design – specially engineered to control 16 individual output ports. Each port has an LED attached. This allows for attractive LED effects by running customized code on the built-in PIC processor.

The unique design allows for the selection of various lighting sequences. Access stored sequences on the processor by selecting a routine from the onboard DIP switch. The processor will run the built-in routine selected and display the output on the LEDs.
The LED fX PC board is a high-quality, double-sided board. Solder masks on both sides with plated holes along with high-contrast silk-screen labeling component positions. Compact in size at only 3 15/16″ x 3 15/16″ (100mm x 100mm) and ready to fit into standard size project cases.
The LED fX is available fully assembled and tested, as a kit of components you can build at home. Also available as just the bare board where you can supply your components. The novice builder can accomplish the assembly of the kit in 60 to 90 minutes.
Individual effects selection by setting the programming DIP switch. 64 sequences are available from the DIP switches. not every effects chip will have 64 different choices available for viewing. Various effects chips are available and include details on the sequences.

Effects Samples
The LED fX Effects Chip 01 features a total of 38 different lighting combinations. Describing each effect is difficult. We illustrated each effects combination and included a brief description on the Effects Summary Page.

LED fX Code – Burn Your Own Processor
For the Do-It-Yourself enthusiast, the firmware to burn into your PIC16C63A processor is Available for Download. Unzip the code file and transfer the .HEX file to your programmer to burn your code.

LED fX ordering Information
The LED fX is available for purchase in many different combinations depending on your unique requirements and technical abilities.
Ordering options for packages vary. Ranging from fully assembled and tested products, kits which can be assembled by novice project builders. Also partial packages with only the bare PC board and effects processor. We even offer the effects processor source and object HEX files. You can program your own sequences and program the processor yourself if you have the necessary equipment.
Each assembled system or kit with parts includes all components necessary for you to run the system. The LEDs included are very brightest and best quality available on the market. You receive eight of each of the White and Blue LEDs in your package.
